White Rose Pin

Description
I began brainstorming more inclusive alternative knitted items as opposed to the pussy hat, and came up with this: a white rose pin
Why a white rose?
In 1942, a group of students and their philosophy teacher at the University of Munich formed the White Rose organization to denounce the Nazi regime, the war, and the mass genocide. In its year-long campaign, they created 6 leaflets criticizing Nazism and calling for more resistance. Unfortunately, in 1943, a janitor turned them into the Gestapo, and many of the members were imprisoned or executed. They are remembered as a vital part of World War II history for their bravery even in the face of death. As one of their members, Sophie Scholl, said "Stand up for what you believe in even if you are standing alone."
